Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Dive Technician to join our team at Consor Engineers. As a Dive Technician, you will work on dive teams for our structural assessment contracts locally, regionally, and around the US. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and preparing equipment, serving as a bridge inspector, diver tender, and notetaker, and conducting top-side inspections of bridges and other structures to protect the traveling public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and develop reports in accordance with national bridge inspection standards requirements to determine maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform emergency inspections of bridges damaged by collision and floods.
- Maintain and prepare equipment for field inspections, including dive equipment, vehicles, and boats.
- Maintain bridge records and files.
Requirements:
- Commercial Diving (ADCI) certification.
- Experience with diving equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in technical writing skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
