Position Summary
Central Appliance Co. Inc is seeking a qualified Appliance Installer (Level II) to become part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will be tasked with the assembly and installation of various household appliances.
This position is ideal for individuals who are self-driven, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can effectively manage their time to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills with colleagues, supervisors, and clients are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Level II Appliance Installers should have the experience to manage most home appliances and equipment that require water and electrical connections.
- The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with a partner.
- Organizing and relocating appliances within the warehouse, utilizing forklifts and hand trucks as necessary.
- Ensure efficient material usage and maintain proper stock levels in company vehicles and equipment.
- Complete necessary documentation including invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports.
- Perform additional duties as required, which may involve cross-training in related roles.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally without assistance, along with the physical capability to perform demanding tasks in various conditions.
- While fulfilling job responsibilities, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
