We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in the Emergency Services department at CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing care to patients of all ages, including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and elimination needs.
- Collect and report vital signs, weights, intake and output, and glucose readings in a timely manner.
- Assist designated personnel with procedures, treatments, or examinations as required.
- Operate equipment properly and safely, including scales, blood pressure recording devices, and pulse oximeters.
- Respond to patient call lights in a timely manner and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, including maintaining floor stock supplies and assisting with patient room cleanliness.
- North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Previous healthcare experience is desired, but not required.
- Computer experience is a plus.
