Job Title: Host/Hostess

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them to our restaurant and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
    • Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas, taking into account their preferences and needs.
    • Provide menus and inform guests of their server's name.
    • Record guest names and party sizes, and provide estimated waiting times when necessary.
  • Communication
    • Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, responding to complaints or making conversation.
    • Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls.
  • Teamwork
    • Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly.
    • Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.

  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
