Recreational Therapist

Job Summary:

As a Recreational Therapist with Select Medical, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our patients. You will plan, direct, and coordinate recreational-based treatment programs to help patients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized recreation therapy plans for patients

Provide therapeutic recreation interventions to patients in a group or individual setting

Educate patients on community resources and support services

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field

Current national certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
