Job Summary

This position involves assisting the Weber County Extension Agent and Ogden Botanical Gardens manager with garden maintenance, planting educational demonstration plots, supporting Master Gardener volunteers, and participating in Extension events.

Responsibilities:
  • Weeding, fertilizing, planting, harvesting, pruning, and organizing tools for weekly garden maintenance.
  • Assisting volunteers during workdays at the gardens.
  • Supporting public classes and events through Extension.
  • Helping with crop entries and judging at the Weber County Fair.
Qualifications:
  • Able to work outdoors in Utah's summer weather.
  • Must have competent English communication skills.

Salary Range: $16.00 per hour
