This position focuses on monitoring the client's health, providing companionship, and assisting with daily living activities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Observe and assess the client's health status while engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with light caregiving duties, including skincare and meal preparation, tailored to the client's schedule.
- Accompany the client on outings, such as hair appointments and recreational activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Support the client with mobility challenges, being attentive to their use of mobility aids.
- Prioritize the client's comfort and safety while promoting their independence.
- Provide additional assistance as required, with a focus on enhancing the client's overall quality of life.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Must reside within the designated service area.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation.
- Experience in geriatric care, particularly with clients facing mobility challenges, is advantageous.
- Ability to deliver compassionate and respectful care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing a social and engaging approach.
- Must demonstrate patience, attentiveness, and the ability to adhere to a care plan.
- Male candidates are encouraged to apply, as the client has a preference for a male caregiver.
- Outgoing and sociable individuals who can foster a positive atmosphere for the client are highly valued.
