Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MR Imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MR Imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information.
  • Ensure patients are properly prepared, obtain relevant patient history, and assure proper positioning.
  • Select proper imaging techniques and follow department protocols to provide Radiologists with images of diagnostic quality.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media/medications as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Maintain a clean work area, prepare equipment, patient room, and stock supplies.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement projects.
  • Remain flexible in shift coverage and overtime situations.
  • Assure all medical information is complete and accurate for exams ordered.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current licensure and certification in Radiologic Technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible in shift coverage and overtime situations.
