Membership Advocate

Samaritan Ministries International is a faith-based organization that provides a unique solution to healthcare needs. We deliver compassionate and personal service to our members, enabling them to provide for one another's medical needs through prayer, encouragement, and financial support.

We are seeking a Membership Advocate to join our team. The Membership Advocate will serve our members by communicating with them through designated service delivery channels, identifying and addressing their needs with timely and accurate information, and working within established procedures and ministry guidelines.

• Assess member situations and address their needs effectively while communicating God's love and pointing them back to Christ.
• Provide members with information on programs and services.
• Increase member retention and improve member experience.
• Develop customer service solutions and ensure high-quality member support.
• Maintain the confidentiality of member information.
• Review and respond to all member inquiries through inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and tasks.
• When appropriate, provide biblical counsel, prayer, and encouragement, while upholding the authority of the member's local church.
• Participate in ongoing training and meetings with a joyful and teachable attitude.
• Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics as specified by Team Lead.
• Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve member requests and complaints.

• At least 18 years old with a diploma or GED.
• Customer Service experience.
• Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft PC and a variety of programs.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Basic).

Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.

Pay Range: $13.45-$17.45 *Starting pay is based off of qualifications and experience
