We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Support Specialist to join our team at LBH-Northwest Hospital. As a Radiology Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Technologists with daily operations and preparation of patients for diagnostic procedures.
- Distribute educational materials to patients regarding radiology procedures.
- Assist patients with ambulation, turning, and repositioning, as well as call lights and cleaning of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the imaging room and immediate radiology area.
- Observe patients during transport and provide for their safety through basic knowledge of life support equipment.
- Basic employment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Entry-level knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment.
- BLS certification required.
