Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our customers. You will work closely with our pharmacists to ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, while also providing a positive and welcoming experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication orders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmacy operations and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
