Overview

The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice, will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities in the East Region, including Mercy-St. Louis, Mercy-Jefferson, Mercy-South, Mercy-Washington, Mercy-Lincoln, Mercy-Perry, and Mercy-Southeast.
  • Provide nursing care in various departments, including Critical Care, Tele, Med/Surg, Women's Health, Labor and Delivery/Mother-Baby, Behavioral Health, and Emergency Department.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current Multistate Registered Nurse License.
  • Minimum 1 year's RN hospital bedside experience, specialty-specific, within the last year.
  • BLS certification.
  • One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • 2 years RN experience.
