Feed Delivery SpecialistAs a Feed Delivery Specialist at Betty's Bunch Temporaries, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of essential feed products to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate company semi-tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver bag and bulk feeds.
- Coordinate feed deliveries with mills, warehouses, and customers.
- Adhere to strict feed sequencing and delivery procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Provide support for warehousing and customer service tasks as needed.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintenance, and communicate effectively with dispatchers.
- Maintain safe driving practices while operating company vehicles on highways.
- Assist in feed mill operations during non-delivery periods, including maintenance, housekeeping, manufacturing, and inventory tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL for the designated truck
- Background or knowledge in farming or agriculture is a plus
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong customer service abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Interest in agriculture and cooperative work
- Physical fitness for regular standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in various environmental elements like dust, odors, gases, mud, and livestock waste
- Flexibility in working hours and potential involvement in loading/unloading activities at grain facilities
