Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at our Waukon, IA facility. In this role, you'll assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks. You'll work with a diverse range of clients, from those with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments, to those requiring post-acute, long-term care, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs to meet individual needs
  • Document client/patient/resident information and establish therapeutic plans
  • Provide education and training to clients/patients/residents and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensure in the state(s) of practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) (when applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
