Job Title: Dragline Operator

Lhoist North America is seeking a skilled Dragline Operator to join our team. As a Dragline Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our dragline equipment, ensuring optimal production and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain dragline equipment, including the Manitowoc 4600 stockpiling shot limestone
  • Monitor machine conditions and perform necessary maintenance tasks
  • Lubricate machine points as required throughout the shift
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the dragline before each shift and document any issues
  • Communicate effectively with the Mine Manager to report machine status and any changes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
