Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Rutland, VT. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the rehabilitation team to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel to ensure adherence to state licensure and professional standards.
  • Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, timely clinical and billing documentation, and attend work-related meetings.
  • Participate in patient care and staffing conferences to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Refer patients to other disciplines and agencies as needed to provide comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens and adapt programs to meet individual patient needs.
  • Promote a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Order necessary supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked and efficient treatment area.
  • Maintain, clean, and report the need for equipment repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Ensure patients and families receive high-quality, compassionate service by providing exceptional care and support.
  • Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, set treatment goals, and plan care, while documenting all services and treatment plans.
  • Select activities suited to patients' physical and mental capacities to promote optimal progress and recovery.
  • Instruct patients in mobility skills and evaluate their progress and behavior to ensure effective treatment.
  • Perform routine reexaminations to modify or progress treatment plans as needed.
  • Incorporate health and wellness programming into treatment plans to promote overall well-being.
  • Conduct home and community mobility assessments and provide safety recommendations to ensure patients' safety and independence.
Requirements
  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the practicing state(s) or proof of eligibility.
  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy, or Masters degree in a related field plus a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy with 5 years of PT experience.
  • Valid drivers license or reliable transportation.
