Action Painting is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Painting Services: Work independently or with other skilled painters to paint interior and exterior surfaces of residential and commercial properties.
- Preparation: Read blueprints and instructions, mix paint and other materials, and apply varnish or other finishes.
- Site Preparation: Instruct on-site Painting Apprentices in job plans for the day, or make on-site preparations, including applying protective coverings, preparing walls or surfaces for painting, and setting up scaffolding.
- Health and Safety: Keep work areas clean and free of hazards, communicate with Job Supervisors, and maintain high customer service standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Attend weekly safety and training meetings, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Experience: Previous experience in residential or commercial painting is required.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques, solid knowledge of painting materials, and manual dexterity.
- Tools and Equipment: Aptitude in using appropriate tools, brushes, caulking guns, and ability to prioritize and focus on current tasks.
- Leadership: Willingness to guide and instruct Painting Apprentices, and willingness to learn and advance within the Company.
- Organizational Skills: Conscientious with strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Customer Service: Customer service skills are essential.
