Job Title: Senior Land Surveyor Leader

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.

About the Role:

The Senior Land Surveyor Leader will supervise a field crew in performing surveys, including boundary and topographic surveys, physical feature and utility location surveys, and construction stakeout. Key responsibilities include directing survey technicians, planning field survey activities, making and reviewing survey calculations, developing field survey sketches, and preparing, recording, and reviewing survey field data.

Requirements:

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in field surveying, utilizing Robotic Total Stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment. The individual must possess good communication and organizational skills, be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and have flexibility to change and/or perform simultaneous tasks. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Land Surveyor Leader will be responsible for supervising and training survey crew members, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining accurate records of survey data. They will also be expected to work with G&A staff to understand project scope, schedule, budget, and other instructions. Additionally, they will need to follow G&A Quality Assurance procedures, demonstrate knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and construction industry, and meet project deadlines within budget.
