Job Title: Dual Custodian

 

Position Summary: To maintain a clean and organized environment in all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and storage rooms. To ensure the efficient operation of housekeeping supplies and inventory management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all guest corridors and stairways are neat, clean, vacuumed, and dusted.
  • Supply Management: Clean and maintain linen closet floors, empty trash, and restock room attendant carts with necessary supplies.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory of guest supplies, restock linen closets weekly, and deliver guest request items when assigned.
  • Support Services: Assist room attendants by removing soiled linen from carts, bringing it to the laundry room, and delivering clean linens to floors upon request.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Empties trash from housekeeping areas, transports trash and waste to central disposal, and records linen inventory in housekeeping closets daily.
  • Guest Services: Deliver roll-a-way beds and cribs to guests and offer assistance as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings, communicate with team members, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

  • Personal Qualities: Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability.
  • Work Schedule: Weekends and holidays are required.
