We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry department at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- One year of experience in critical care or progressive care unit preferred.
