Job Summary:

The Spa Therapist and Nail Technician will provide exceptional spa treatments and nail care services to our members and guests. This role requires a professional with a thorough knowledge of spa modalities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to a quality work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer professional spa treatments, including massages, facials, and body wraps, in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that members and guests feel valued and cared for.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, adhering to sanitation and sterilization standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, using their names and customizing their spa experience whenever possible.
  • Effectively communicate with members and guests, providing clear and concise information about spa services and products.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Requirements:
  • Valid California State Board License.
  • Minimum of two years of professional spa therapist experience in a luxury resort or private club.
  • Ability to perform a minimum of three modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Ability to interact and develop positive relationships with members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive energy and ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up-to 20lbs.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, stand, twist, sit, and walk throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Ability to twist, kneel, bend repeatedly when moving inventory, assisting members, and during site clean-up.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment.
Compensation:
Wage range: $16.00/hour + commission.
