Registered Nurse CVTS Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse CVTS to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a Cardiovascular Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the Role
This is a full-time Registered Nurse CVTS position working days with rotating weekends. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse CVTS, you will be responsible for assessing patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. You will also perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, document the administration of care in the patient medical record, and perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor response. Additionally, you will maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Registered Nurse Texas or Compact state license, Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date, and ACLS Certification. You will also need to have 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular telemetry or cardiac nursing.
