Antifreeze Recycling Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Antifreeze Recycling Operator. As a key member of our North Las Vegas team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our antifreeze recycling plant, ensuring the safe and efficient processing of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the antifreeze recycling plant, including tank re-refinery process operations and recording tank gage readings.
  • Complete tank transfers and associated paperwork, as well as assist other team members as needed.
  • Sample process streams and assist with tank farm operations as necessary.
  • Gauge all process tanks every hour and complete housekeeping tasks in the plant.
  • Load, unload, and wash trucks, as well as switch and change process filters as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of previous experience, preferably in an industrial environment (refinery, processing plant, or production/manufacturing experience).
  • Tank farm experience is preferred, as well as loading and unloading railcars, tankers, and trailers.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, PIDs, and Blue Prints is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, bend, stoop, climb, and work at heights.
