About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at California Pizza Kitchen. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and plating our innovative and famous recipes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run a specific workstation in the scratch kitchen, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Prepare and plate CPK's signature dishes, including pizzas, pastas, steaks, chicken, and seafood.
  • Broil, grill, sauté, and bake a variety of menu items to meet customer expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes and specials, ensuring accurate preparation and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
