We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician to serve as the Program Director for our Interventional Radiology Residency program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the educational mission of the training program, ensuring appropriate trainee milestone advancement and oversight of faculty teaching performance.
- Ensure the program remains at the forefront of education in Interventional Radiology, bringing the latest opportunities and advancements to our residents.
- Foster a safe and effective learning environment, promoting an interdisciplinary healthcare team that supports education and provides high-quality clinical services to patients.
- Assess residency quality outcome metrics, ensuring adherence to protocol and practice guidelines, and promoting wise resource utilization.
- Ensure the education and training of supervising physicians, residents, and fellows is commensurate with their activity in OSUWMC.
- Promote program and OSU education through educational scholarly output.
- Demonstrates significant scholarly activity and an established national reputation in Interventional Radiology.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
- Maintenance of ABR certification in Interventional/Diagnostic Radiology or AOBR certification with subspecialty certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
- Completion of three years of post-fellowship practice in IR.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
