A Career Opportunity in Behavioral CareWe are seeking a full-time Behavioral Care Specialist - Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to join our team of dedicated professionals. Job Responsibilities- Conducting ABA Sessions: Conduct one-on-one ABA sessions, following established programs and guidelines presented by the program coordinator and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervisor.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, Inter-Observer Agreement (IOA), and generalization, adhering to BACB Guidelines and Requirements for maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
You will be responsible for conducting pre-session and post-session activities, including session setup and clean up, printing out data sheets, environmental arrangement, motivational system setup, and video camera setup (if applicable). Additionally, you will edit data sheets as necessary, graph data, collect IOA, make materials as needed, formulate questions/concerns for scheduled supervision meetings, complete session notes, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education and Experience: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred.
- Certifications and Training: Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification through specialized training and passing the competency exam and evaluation.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, state retirement through RSA, an optional 457b plan with company match, 9 paid holidays, and accrual of up to 15 days of PTO per year.
