Early Childhood Education Quality Coach

Columbia Gorge Community College is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Education Quality Coach to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young students and contributing to the growth and development of our community.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Coach who can help early education programs in our region achieve excellence in quality. Your primary responsibility will be to provide coaching and technical assistance to program leaders and educators, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to create high-quality learning environments for young children.
You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. Your expertise in early childhood education, coaching, and technical assistance will be invaluable in supporting our programs in achieving their goals.

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $59,882-$63,522, plus excellent benefits, including generous employer contributions to medical, dental, and vision premiums, and participation in the Oregon PERS retirement system. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of educators and professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children and their families.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in an early childhood program with a focus on preschool
- Knowledge of how children learn within the context of ongoing relationships with important adults
- Thorough understanding of preschool children's needs, their families, and those who work with them
- Strong knowledge of effective teaching practices
- 3+ years of experience providing technical assistance and training to early education programs
- Experience supporting the primacy of families, their home languages, and their cultures
- Knowledge of inclusive practices in preschool programs
- Knowledge of early learning quality assessment tools
- Bilingual and biliterate (English/Spanish)
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in ECE or related field
