As a Janler apprentice, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with a skilled team of Mold Makers
  • Engaging in projects across all stages to master the use of mold-making tools and machinery
  • Gaining hands-on experience in grinding, milling, polishing, assembly, EDM, and fittings on intricate projects
  • Working from approved designs under the guidance of an experienced project team leader
  • Contributing to the production of injection molds and tooling to fulfill client specifications
  • Ensuring the accuracy and functionality of your work at every stage to enhance personal skill development and guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing various measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, optical measuring machines, gauges, and other inspection tools
  • Receiving training on Bridgeport milling machines, CNC milling machines, manual and automatic grinders, jig grinders, polishing machines, and other essential equipment.

Apprentice Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates with a background in technical subjects
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is beneficial
  • Previous experience in mold making or shop work is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A willingness to engage in a formal mold-making education program is essential
