Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at The Mansions at Alpharetta. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Maintain awareness of each resident's general state of physical and mental health, reporting any changes to the Wellness Director.
  • Keep an inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
  • Assist with finding shift coverage when unexpected call-outs occur.
  • Develop and maintain assignments for the Wellness Director.
  • Assist in orienting and on-boarding new Wellness Associates.
  • Respond to resident emergencies, providing first aid and arranging for medical follow-up.
  • Assist residents in keeping their units clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Answer calls for assistance and attend to resident needs promptly.
  • Assist residents with clothing and laundry needs, as instructed.
  • Assist residents with meal selection, service, and feeding, as assigned.
  • Assist with activity programs, as assigned.
  • Maintain records according to policy.
  • Maintain files as needed.
  • Participate in a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education per year.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current State Nurse's Aide registration preferred but not required.
  • Experience and passion in working with seniors.
  • Able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
  • In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically able to bend and reach.
  • Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 60 pounds at times.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods.
  • May be required to use a Hoyer Lift.

  • May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments.
