- As a Fishery Biologist 2, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to inform fisheries management decisions.
- You will work closely with a team of scientists and managers to develop and implement effective conservation and management strategies.
- Conduct field and laboratory research to collect and analyze data on fish populations and habitats.
- Develop and implement research designs and methodologies to address complex fisheries management issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including fishermen, conservation groups, and other government agencies to develop and implement effective management strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, chemistry, or environmental science.
- Experience in fisheries research and management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
