Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide top-notch imaging services through thorough patient assessments and advanced ultrasound technology.

• Review patient history, physician's orders, and schedule exams.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors, and perform imaging procedures.

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
