Job Summary

Mcare Agency LLC is seeking a highly skilled PET CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing PET CT procedures, evaluating images for technical quality, and providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform PET CT procedures per established protocols and evaluate images for technical quality.
  2. Evaluate workflow for ways to improve patient care and streamline procedures.
  3. Provide quality patient care and high levels of customer service.
  4. Provide technologists with in-service regarding Radiation Protection and Radiation exposure.
  5. Responsible for keeping management informed of changes in Radiation Protection Program.
  6. Key person to contact with any questions regarding radiation exposure or Radiation Protection Program.
  7. Arrange technologist coverage as needed for imaging department.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (Associate Degree in radiologic technology preferred).
  • Registered and in good standing with ARRT (N) or NMCTB.
  • Certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services (CMRT) required.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Medical Board required.
  • Certified in CPR.

Compensation:

Salary range from $30.06 to $41.34 per hour, depending on experience.
