Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in our clinic under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager and Clinical Administrator.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and counseling patients on treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs as requested by the CCO or CEO.
- Report any pertinent information or situations that impact patient care or CFHC liability to the CCO.
- Attend and participate in mandatory CFHC meetings and demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with other members of the clinical team.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Florida license and BLS certification.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practice, and techniques.
- Ability to lift weight equivalents to what would be required when occasionally assisting and positioning patients, repositioning equipment and lifting supplies.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring adaptability and flexibility to meet the needs of patients and the healthcare team.
