Position Overview
As a key member of the food service team, you will oversee the overall management and cleanliness of the department, which includes the main kitchen, café, eatery, storeroom, and unit pantries.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the department, including staff scheduling and task assignments.
- Address disciplinary matters and report them to management as necessary.
- Conduct investigations into employee-related incidents and complete required documentation.
- Open and close kitchen and café operations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure the timely delivery of meals and snacks to patients and patient services in the absence of management.
- Handle customer complaints, report equipment issues, and perform inspections of kitchen and pantry areas for cleanliness and temperature compliance.
- Supervise catering activities, including setup and breakdown of events.
- Contribute to data collection for continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification from the Dietary Manager's Association is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a related field is required.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate of potential base compensation for this role and may be adjusted in the future based on various factors such as location, specialty, service line, relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.
