Dental Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Cherry Tree Dental in Wausau, WI.
About the RoleAs a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily operations of our clinic by providing exceptional care and communication to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Collecting and recording patient health histories, taking impressions and x-rays
- Ensuring patient comfort during dental procedures
- Preparing dental materials and completing charting of treatment information
- Assisting the doctor in managing medical and dental emergencies
- Cleaning and polishing removable devices, fabricating temporary restorations, and delivering postoperative instructions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience
- Previous customer service or office experience
- Proficiency in dental terminology and dental software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
