Highly Skilled RN for Emergency Department Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic.
Job OverviewIn this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on assessment, monitoring, and intervention for patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to facilitate wellness and discharge processes, utilizing sound nursing practices and maintaining compliance with healthcare protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through sound procedures and practices.
- Perform accurate and complete admission assessments within defined time frames.
- Assess and document patient's pain levels using appropriate protocols.
- Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
- Evaluate, update and revise plans of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Delegate appropriate components of the nursing care plan to other members of the nursing team.
- Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness and facilitates the discharge process.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Two years recent experience in the Emergency Department.

CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
