Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and aesthetic appeal of our residential properties. This safety-sensitive role involves collaborating closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to carry out essential repairs and preventive maintenance across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance: Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the property through regular inspections and upkeep.
- Appliance Repair: Diagnose and resolve minor issues with heating and cooling systems, as well as perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Unit Preparation: Ensure that residential units are ready for new occupants by meeting company standards, which may include painting and repairs.
- Laundry Facility Management: Uphold the cleanliness and functionality of laundry areas in accordance with company guidelines.
- Pool Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of pool facilities to comply with safety and health regulations.
- Customer Service: Strive to meet and exceed resident satisfaction levels while being available for emergency situations as directed by the Community Manager.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required; certifications in HVAC and pool maintenance are preferred.
- A minimum of one year of maintenance experience in a residential setting is necessary.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 110 pounds, along with the capability to perform various physical tasks.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory for roles involving transportation.
- Successful candidates will undergo a background check, drug screening, and physical demand analysis as part of the hiring process.
