Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at GPAC. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and securing Building Material sales with new and existing customers to increase company profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and Secure Sales: Promote and sell Building Materials to new and existing customers, with a focus on increasing company profitability.
  • Facilitate Customer Product Selection: Assist customers in selecting the best Building Materials for their needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Service Existing Accounts: Provide excellent customer service to existing accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.
  • Estimate Materials: Estimate materials required for customer projects, using blueprints and other documentation.
  • Resolve Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and issues, resolving them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable: Assist with the collection of accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment from customers.
  • Attend Training: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Contractor sales representatives must have a strong understanding of Building Materials, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the Building Materials industry.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong sales and customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Work Environment

As a Sales Representative, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will be required to work in both an indoor and outdoor setting, with occasional lifting and moving of objects up to 100 pounds.
