Join Geosyntec Consultants as a Principal Geologist or Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Geologist or Engineer to join our Geoenvironmental and Remediation practice in Columbus or Cleveland, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex site investigation and remediation projects, developing innovative solutions, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies
  • Manage complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts
  • Lead challenging technical projects and business development initiatives
  • Steward and build client relationships to facilitate repeat business
  • Task and project management, including planning, budgeting, and quality control
  • Management and mentoring of early career staff and subcontractors
  • Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing
  • Preparing technical reports, letters, and proposals
  • Participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related field
  • Advanced degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.) if applicable
  • At least 10 years of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Demonstrated success in client development and management
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
