Behavior Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Soliant.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is $**35.00 per hour**, with benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance offered.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of problematic behaviors in students. You will develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that align with each student's educational goals and needs. Your duties will also include providing direct services to students, such as one-on-one support and group interventions, monitoring student progress through data collection, analyzing results, and adjusting interventions as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, counselors, administrators, and parents to create a positive learning environment and participate in IEP meetings to contribute behavior analysis expertise to student planning.
Required QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field and hold VA Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA). Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
