Evening Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY OF ROLE
This role involves supporting the maintenance and management of the facility during the evening shift. The Evening Maintenance Technician is tasked with conducting routine and preventive maintenance on all machinery and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the premises. The ideal candidate possesses a diverse skill set, with experience in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility upkeep. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to quality work are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute all tasks safely, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Perform minor repairs in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and painting, along with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance as required.
- Assist in the construction, preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance of all facility equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of repair tools and supplies.
- Complete assigned work orders efficiently.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the equipment used within the facility.
- Maintain knowledge of the facility's plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and required training (Safety, Quality, Regulations, etc.).
- Perform additional maintenance tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere through a proactive attitude and self-motivation.
- Research and implement new methods to meet or exceed operational goals while adhering to applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction.
- Experienced with hand and power tools.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently or as part of a team, demonstrating sound judgment and resourcefulness.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding and compliance with company rules, regulations, and procedures are essential.
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.
- Must be at least 21 years old and compliant with all legal requirements for the role.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, carrying, and balancing up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) safely.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills are required.
- Full understanding of applicable laws and regulations to maintain compliance within the facility.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
