Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time, float position in the Raleigh area, with a schedule of 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend. You will be empowered to provide holistic patient care to your community with support, guidance, collaboration, and a "one store, one team mindset."

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family evidenced-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness, chronic condition management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice is preferred.
  • Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
