Home Instead is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide non-medical care and support to seniors in their own homes. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of aging adults, promoting their independence, and providing a sense of security and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Companionship and engagement activities, such as puzzles, walks, and cooking/baking
  • Personal care, including grooming, bathing, and assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Transportation assistance for appointments and errands
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Dementia and Alzheimer's care

Requirements:
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license and valid car insurance
