We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at AMT Engineering. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of complex bridge structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and analysis of bridge structures, including planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of mid-to-large multi-discipline projects.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Conduct schematic, design development, and contractual document work sessions in conjunction with Project Managers, technical professionals, and other disciplines.
  • Ensure project deliverables and supporting documentation are complete, understandable, and conform to applicable and reasonable standards.
  • Responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures and completing reviews of bridge plans for projects.
  • Maintain professional engineering registration and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
  • 5+ years of project and client management experience with significant project experience and client contacts.
  • MS Office experience and proficiency in software such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, LARSA 4D, LPile, MDX, Descus, AASHTOWare BrR, Merlin DASH, spColumn, PennDOT software packages, Bentley MicroStation, and/or OpenRoads/Bridge software.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to travel as required.
