Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Michael Foods, Inc. in Klingerstown, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting all equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain production equipment in assigned areas
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs under the guidance of higher-level production mechanics
  • Monitor machinery on a regular basis to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with production operators to identify process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports and effectively present information
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification
  • Driver's license
  • Ability to obtain HazMat, Confined Space Entry, and LOTO certifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a maintenance occupation in a manufacturing environment with strong industrial electrical ability
  • Basic understanding of 3-phase electricity
  • Ability to maintain various pumps and work independently when directed
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
