We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Michael Foods, Inc. in Klingerstown, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting all equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain production equipment in assigned areas
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs under the guidance of higher-level production mechanics
- Monitor machinery on a regular basis to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with production operators to identify process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports and effectively present information
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification
- Driver's license
- Ability to obtain HazMat, Confined Space Entry, and LOTO certifications
- Experience in a maintenance occupation in a manufacturing environment with strong industrial electrical ability
- Basic understanding of 3-phase electricity
- Ability to maintain various pumps and work independently when directed
- Strong written and verbal skills
