The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing care and support to residents in accordance with their individualized plan of care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide basic care and support to residents, including feeding, toileting, and transferring
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
- New York State Certified CNA or deemed "waived"
- Clinical experience provided by an approved 100-hour nurse aide course
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
This role requires the ability to lift, push, and pull residents, as well as stand and walk for extended periods. The work environment is typical of most office jobs, with normal heat, light, and safe working conditions.
Intermittent exposure to unpleasant physical conditions may occur.
