Role Overview:
- Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with Fridays off
- Manage a high volume of patients, with 45 clinic visits daily and a robust surgical schedule, particularly in cataract procedures, during the first year, with growth anticipated.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures including cataract surgeries, YAG, LPI, and SLT, with opportunities to establish a specialized glaucoma or cornea service.
- Ideal for candidates with fellowship training in Cornea or Glaucoma due to unmet patient needs.
- Work in a well-equipped clinic featuring 10 examination rooms and advanced diagnostic tools such as iTrace, Zeiss OCT, and more, designed for premium IOL procedures. Support from a highly skilled technical team is available.
- Efficient Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) located within the same facility, allowing for a high surgical case volume of 25-30 procedures daily. Equipped with advanced technology for optimal patient care.
- Participate in a shared call schedule of 1 in 3 (or potentially 1 in 4), ensuring manageable on-call responsibilities without hospital or emergency room obligations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Possession of an active state medical license or willingness to obtain one upon hiring
