Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Bay Area Hospital. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in medical imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and medical imaging practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved ultrasound training program.
  • Valid Oregon permanent or temporary OBMI license required upon hire.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Holds a minimum of two specialty certifications from the following certification boards: Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Three (3) years of experience in sonography.
