About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Resident Care Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall well-being of our residents, providing exceptional care and support to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents, monitoring their health and identifying any potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Assist with medication management, ensuring accurate administration and documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in resident care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
  • Current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
