As a Manufacturing Team Member, you will be integral to our production process, ensuring that we meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow production line instructions and utilize specialized machinery and tools to assist in the manufacturing process.
- Finalizing and packaging products for distribution while adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Maintain production standards and strive for continuous improvement in efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Read and interpret job specifications to make necessary machine adjustments and material selections.
- Monitor machine operations to identify defects or malfunctions and take corrective actions as needed.
- Perform assembly tasks using hand or power tools, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as required.
- Assist in inventory management and notify supervisors of any mechanical or material issues.
Work Environment:
This role involves exposure to various environmental conditions, including noise, fumes, and moving mechanical parts. Safety is our priority, and proper protective equipment must be worn at all times.
Physical Requirements:
This position is physically demanding, requiring regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting of items weighing over 50 pounds. Vision capabilities must include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and forklift operation is preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or shipping environment is advantageous.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with typical working hours from Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required based on business needs.
